Your willingness not to give up no matter what will bring you one step closer towards the accomplishment of your dreams. Often times, people start enthusiastically with a new task, but they soon allow challenges and setbacks to decrease their motivation. In the end, they will give up and find new goals to pursue halfhearted, which they will eventually fail as well. That is until they finally find goals that are unimportant but relatively easy to accomplish. What a way to ruin one’s potential.

ইবরাহীম (আঃ) ছিলেন ইহুদী-খৃষ্টান-মুসলমান সকল ধর্মীয় সম্প্রদায়ের পিতা। কেননা আদম (আঃ) হ’তে ইবরাহীম (আঃ) পর্যন্ত ১০/১২ জন নবী বাদে শেষনবী মুহাম্মাদ (ছাঃ) পর্যন্ত ১ লাখ ২৪ হাযার পয়গম্বরের প্রায় সকলেই ছিলেন ইবরাহীম (আঃ)-এর বংশধর। পবিত্র কুরআনে বর্ণিত হয়েছে,

إنَّ اللّهَ اصْطَفَى آدَمَ وَنُوْحاً وَآلَ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ وَآلَ عِمْرَانَ عَلَى الْعَالَمِيْنَ- (آل عمران ৩৩)-
‘নিশ্চয়ই আল্লাহ আদম, নূহ, আলে ইবরাহীম ও আলে ইমরানকে বিশ্ববাসীর উপরে নির্বাচিত করেছেন’ (আলে ইমরান ৩/৩৩)। এই নির্বাচন ছিল বিশ্ব সমাজে আল্লাহর তাওহীদের প্রচার ও প্রতিষ্ঠার জন্য এবং আল্লাহর দ্বীনকে বিজয়ী করার জন্য। ইবরাহীম ছিলেন নবীগণের পিতা এবং পুত্র মুহাম্মাদ ছিলেন নবীগণের নেতা, এ বিষয়টি সর্বদা মুমিনের মানসপটে জাগরুক রাখার জন্য দৈনিক ছালাতের শেষ বৈঠকে পঠিত দরূদের মধ্যে ইবরাহীম ও মুহাম্মাদের উপরে এবং উভয়ের পরিবার বর্গের উপরে আল্লাহর অনুগ্রহ বর্ষণের জন্য দো‘আ করার বিধান রাখা হয়েছে। ইবরাহীমের বংশে বরকত হ’ল নবুঅত ও ঐশী কিতাবের বরকত এবং মুহাম্মাদের ও তাঁর বংশে বরকত হ’ল বিজ্ঞানময় কুরআন ও হাদীছ এবং তার ভিত্তিতে প্রতিষ্ঠিত সমাজ ব্যবস্থার বরকত।
