WHY ANDROID SMARTWATCH JUST TELL YOU TO WASH YOUR HANDS - AND HOW TO TURN IT OFF
Time to wash for 40 seconds.
Have you just received a notification from your smartwatch to wash your hands http://www.rafiqsonsonline.com..../product-category/ca This may be due to the fact that Wear OS smart watches now offer a timer for handwashing as part of the latest software update.
The goal of this is to encourage you to wash your hands more often during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The new feature is part of the Google Clock app, which comes standard on all Wear OS smart watches. This feature offers the opportunity for you to wash your hands, and Google has chosen 40 seconds to be the optimal time.
This is not in line with the official recommendation of the WHO (World Health Organization), which says that 20 seconds is enough, but it seems that Google is mistaken on the side of caution and realizes that the timer may need to be longer so that you can start it before the actual wash.
After you finish washing your hands, you will receive a notification that you will again be reminded of the need to wash your hands for three hours.
If you don’t want to touch your smart watch, you can also use the Google Assistant. Just say, “Hey Google, help me wash my hands,” and the app will play the song for 40 seconds.
