I really don't think that's always true. Earnings have stagnated/declined. EA does not care since EA makes money on Madden 20 coins microtransactions, therefore sales do not necessarily behave as motivation for them. But the NFL does maintenance. I really don't believe the NFL opens the window for 2K to create a match again (even if it originally is not a sim) if Madden were selling well. The NFL has a whole lot to gain from NFL games reaching wide audiences, and a game selling poorly using an exclusive rights deal doesn't do this for them.
Exactly. Was Madden 18. I played on and off when I needed the fix and only got 20 once it had been on EA pass. For each one of us, there is people may not dabble in MUT and without thinking purchasing it. Then you've got the people dropping money on MUT and buying it. Aside from the men and women who put money into it, for every single man who just spends money on MUT one or two times, that's probably close to $40-$60 again they are spending and that's basically a different copy of Madden sold. People are hooked on the MUT model as it works in NBA 2k and even in the Show a little bit.
The distinction is that the Show is already at such a great level or seems to be making improvements that it's fine. Regrettably Madden discovered the version while they had/have the monopoly so the franchise style just got completely ignored.
The tackling of Diamond Dynasty of the buy Mut 20 coins Show is pretty good. I've never been big on those manners whatsoever and haven't even touched MUT, but I wound up getting quite a few DD cards at The Show 18 and 19 (haven't bought 20) since you earn the stubs to purchase them as well as the cards themselves through regular game play, and you are able to buy/sell cards on an open market.
